Strategy, people and the build
I can help shape it.
And help make it happen.
I’ve founded a consultancy, led customer discovery, shaped products and built software. That breadth helps me connect AI opportunities to the people, processes and systems they need to work with.
I work across the conversation and the implementation: leadership alignment, service design, solution architecture, hands-on engineering and the realities of adoption.
My focus is helping organisations move from experimenting with AI to using it well, connecting business priorities with the people and systems that make change possible.
Download my CVA career across the whole problem
I’ve spent nearly 20 years making digital things, from interactive experiences and production software to services, products and businesses. The scope has grown, but I still want to understand the detail: what someone is trying to do, what is getting in their way and how we can make it work better.
At Razor I established the design and service discovery practice, then later worked across growth, customer engagements and applied AI. In between, I founded and led REYT, building a consultancy and a team delivering products across sport, health and digital services. Those experiences taught me to connect the quality of the product with the realities of delivering and running it.
Why AI enablement fits
AI brings those parts of my experience together. It needs business understanding, useful data, thoughtful service design and people who can carry an idea through implementation. I can help with the opportunity and the operating model, then stay close enough to the build to understand the trade-offs.
My work at Cigna connected discovery and service blueprints with solution direction and team delivery. At Powered By Rental, I’m developing an AI-assisted Software Factory around a live product. Runway is a more personal example: a business model I built to explore decisions using connected data through a UI or MCP. Each starts with a practical need. At Startwell Ventures, as Chief Product Officer, I bring that approach to AI enablement, products and venture building alongside Gary Neville and Ben Eastwood.
How I work with people
I’ve facilitated hundreds of sessions, but the method always depends on the people and the question. Sometimes the useful conversation happens in a workshop. Sometimes it happens beside someone doing their job, at a desk, or through feedback they have time to think about.
I like making complexity tangible: a service map people can challenge, a prototype they can try, or working software they can respond to. Shared understanding matters because the people who use and operate a system need to be part of shaping it.
Still close to the work
Leading a business has made me more interested in the connections between things: a product decision and a sales conversation, a technical shortcut and the support it creates, an automation and the judgement that still needs a person.
I remain hands-on because building is a way of testing whether an idea holds up. My experience includes personally writing software, working in delivery teams and directing larger engagements. I make those contributions clear in the case studies, because good work rarely belongs to one person.

I’m at my best where business priorities, people and practical delivery meet: finding a useful AI opportunity, shaping an approach to adoption and helping a product or workflow take shape. I’m always interested in a thoughtful conversation about making technology useful.
