The situation
The technical challenge involved ingesting and processing large volumes of IoT events. That required an approach to moving and handling data that could fit the demands of the solution.
My contribution
I collaborated with a Principal Engineer on solution design and packet-based messaging architecture. This was shared architecture work, not sole ownership of the system.
The approach
I worked with a Principal Engineer to think through the messaging and processing route for large volumes of events. The work connected the solution’s data-handling demands with an architecture approach, as part of the wider engineering effort.
Think through the route from event to useful data
High-volume event processing depends on the way information moves between stages. The architecture collaboration focused on that messaging and processing approach. The public LIVEsite imagery gives product context; it does not imply that I designed every part of the interface or built the system alone.
Where it landed
A collaborative contribution to the solution design and messaging approach. The LIVEsite screens provide context for the product; my contribution was the architecture collaboration.
